Each member of our team brings a wealth of experience and a personalized approach to help you achieve your fitness objectives. With diverse specialties ranging from strength training to wellness, our coaches are here to support and inspire you every step of the way.
Ernie & Erica Baylor
Ernie and Erica Baylor are the proud owners of Burn Camillus, and their passion for the gym comes from their own personal transformation journey. Together, they have lost over 110 pounds and experienced firsthand the life-changing impact that fitness, community, and accountability can have.
Ernie’s passion for martial arts and coaching allows him to share his knowledge and help members build strength, confidence, and resilience both on and off the mats. Erica will be the first to tell you that she once hated gyms, especially group classes. Feeling intimidated and constantly comparing herself to others kept her away for years… until she found Burn.
Today, Ernie and Erica have built Burn Camillus into a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive community where members are known by name and supported through every step of their journey. You’ll often find them on the gym floor coaching classes, sharing their own experiences, and helping members reach goals they once thought were impossible. Their mission is simple: create a place where everyone feels comfortable, empowered, and capable of becoming the best version of themselves.
Danielle
Danielle is a Senior Software Automation Analyst with National Grid by day and a Burn coach by night. If you happen to catch her taking a morning class on the mats, be sure to congratulate her! Danielle loves to travel and has a passion for baking when she’s not at Burn. She coaches evening classes and fills in whenever needed. Danielle also leads our Kids Programs and Camps, as well as our Kick Your Cortisol program. She’s a huge asset to Erica and me as we continue to grow Burn Camillus.
Santana
Santana is a high school English teacher by day and a Burn coach by night. She brings great energy and encouragement to every class she leads. When she’s not on the mats, Santana is busy enjoying life with her husband and their four sons, staying involved in just about every activity you can imagine. You can catch Santana coaching evening classes and Saturday mornings.
Danayla
Originally from Tennessee, Danayla works as the Operations Manager for the Syracuse University Women’s Basketball Team. She also has her own weight loss and success story through Burn, which sparked her passion for coaching and helping others on their fitness journeys. When she’s not on the mats, Danayla is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves to travel and explore new places. During the off-season from basketball, you’ll often find her stepping in to coach evening classes at Burn.
Stephanie
Stephanie is one of Burn’s OGs! She started her journey as a Burn member and lost over 80 pounds through the program. After experiencing the transformation herself, she stepped into coaching to help others achieve the same success. Stephanie brings incredible knowledge, motivation, and intensity to every class, always pushing members to reach their limits while supporting them every step of the way. You can catch Stephanie coaching our Wednesday morning classes.
Shauna
Shauna is known for bringing great energy to the mats and always keeping the class smiling with her sense of humor. When she’s not coaching at Burn, she works at our local Costco. Shauna is also a proud mom of two and loves spending time with her family whenever she’s not working. You can catch Shauna coaching both mornings and evenings throughout the week.
Paige
Paige is our firecracker! Her classes are high-energy, intense, and packed with motivation. She loves being part of the Burn community and is always pushing members to dig a little deeper and give their best effort. You can find Paige bringing the heat on Friday through Sunday mornings. Outside of Burn, she’s also busy coaching her son’s little league baseball team.
Kelsey
Kelsey is one of our morning coaches and also works alongside Erica helping grow the business and develop new programs at Burn Camillus. She plays an important role both on the floor and behind the scenes. Kelsey is also a proud mom of two little ones, but still makes time to show up for her own workouts whenever she’s not coaching. Her commitment to the Burn community is what makes her such a valuable part of the team.
Lauren
Lauren is one of our evening coaches and brings great energy and leadership to the Burn floor. Outside of the gym, she works as an engineer for Baxter Companies. Lauren has a huge heart for animals and is actively involved in rescue efforts, serving as a foster parent and supporting organizations like Recycle A Bully. She also helps Burn Camillus coordinate many of our Burn Gives Back community events, including charity workouts, donations, and special classes. When she’s not coaching or volunteering, Lauren loves spending time camping and enjoying the outdoors.
Joel
Joel has been part of the Burn community since the day the doors first opened. After experiencing his own weight loss and fitness journey through Burn, he now helps others do the same as a coach. His classes are intense, energetic, and often include strength work with weights. Joel is always smiling and truly loves being part of the Burn family. You can catch him coaching Sunday and Monday mornings.
